Ted Thomas has been an Internet guru and an author for over fifteen years. He has many courses and books to his credit. He is into real estate, tax liens and deeds. Ted is often seen on info commercials advertising his products- Ted Thomas Secrets to Earning 16%, 18%, 20% to 50% On Secured Government Certificates and eBay course- How to Make Your Personal Fortune with Government Money Guide Book. This program is about purchasing a government lien on real estate, similar to mortgage. Although you can purchase government liens on real estate, it is not possible to earn the percentages on secured government securities as advertised by Ted. 

Ted Thomas operates from Florida and his books are for sale in more than four countries. One of his home study courses- Serious Money is popular in Tax Lien Certificate industry. He also conducts regular seminars on Pre-foreclosures and Tax liens and deeds. He organizes free seminars. However, many other marketers sell their products and services during seminar time. He hardly talks about tax liens for few hours. Most of what he delivers about tax liens is available at eBay.

Most of Ted Thomas’s material and information is much outdated and useless. Some of his courses are prerecording of his earlier seminars and hence information there is not useful. In all Ted is dishonest about his claims and  acts rudely during seminars. He has police officers posted at the door to intimidate you.  If you do not take your seat when told, the officers approach you to go in or leave. I cant stand this guy! Its all a sales festival to get you to buy at his events.

Ted Thomas advertises 100% money-back guarantee for all his products for ninety days. He does not pay back a pie, instead provides you with discount coupons for his other products. Second, he advertises during his seminars that you can start your real estate investing with the help of his money and will help you buy two properties. This never happens as he does not answer any of your calls or reply to your mails. Hence, it is best to stay away from Ted Thomas and his products. It is better to invest your money in some other fruitful and gainful business opportunities.

I am a real estate investor and all I can tell you is that you need to develop a network of people that you work with who can make you strong where you are weak.
